We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurses to join our healthcare team. You will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients, monitoring their condition, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive patient care.

We are currently recruiting Registered Nurses for exciting agency opportunities across a variety of specialist areas including:

• General Wards (Mullingar, Tullamore & Portlaoise)

• Emergency Department ED- (Mullingar, Tullamore & Portlaoise)

• Intensive Care Unit ICU- (Mullingar, Tullamore & Portlaoise)

• Paediatrics (Mullingar & Portlaoise)

• Renal (Mullingar)

• Midwifery (Mullingar)

• RPN'S (Mullingar)

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care

• Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care

• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

• Adhere to infection control, safety, and clinical guidelines

• Respond effectively in fast-paced and high-pressure environments (especially ED/ICU/CCU)

• Valid NMBI registration (assistance available if required)

• Minimum 6 months’ recent clinical experience in UK or ROI hospital settings

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Up-to-date Mandatory training. Direct Medics can provide in house Basic Life Support (BLS), Safety Intervention and Manual Handling training.

• Access to own transport is an advantage but not essential
