Toolmaker - County Westmeath.

Key Responsibilities:
• Performing scheduled tool maintenance pre & post production, as well as supporting reactive maintenance during production.
• Carry out incoming verification on tool spares procured.
• Review and maintain plastic injection tools, jigs and fixtures when required.
• Possess the skill set to completely split a tool, clean, polish, assess for wear areas, report on same, and rebuild.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records
• Perform root cause investigation as required, and support corrective actions to analyse quality and process problems.
• Participate in validation of new products and equipment as required.

Requirements for this role:
• Interested candidate must be a fully qualified toolmaker
• Experienced with hot runner and valve gate systems including wiring of same.
• Experienced with the repair and maintenance of injection moulding tools.
• Possess good problem solving capabilities.
• Experience of standard plastic injection moulding / over-moulding / 2-Shot moulding with relevant industry experience.
