Job Description This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. The position offers practical work experience of 19.5 hours per week, with training towards a QQI qualification, fully funded through the programme.

Responsibilities

Follow the caretaker schedule set out by management.

Maintain and monitor the condition and security of the building.

Keep the building clean inside and outside, assist with minor repairs, and ensure that amenities such as hot water and heating are in working order.

Keep the grounds clean and tidy, spot paint where needed, including childcare rooms, hallways and toilets, and any other remedial works that might be required from time to time.

In the case of a suspected or confirmed Covid-19 case, perform a deep clean following the in‑place Covid‑19 cleaning procedure.

Requirements Applicants must be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form and meet the eligibility criteria of the Community Employment Programme.
