Kare provides support to people who have an intellectual disability and their families. We were founded in 1967 and work in the mid and south Kildare, east Offaly, West Wicklow and northeast Carlow areas of Ireland. We believe that people with an intellectual disability are important and should be a part of their community like everyone else. We work with each individual who use the service to support them to develop their skills and abilities so that they can live the life of their choice.Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. Support Worker positions available offering quality work experience and accredited training. This is an ideal opportunity to gain valuable experience working as part of a team in residential services supporting service users to meet their individual needs in the following areas:Recreation Supported employment Community inclusion Personal care Choose to gain a QQI Major Award in ID Practice and Community Healthcare and complete essential mandatory training required to work in the Healthcare sector.
