Salary:
€38,000 per annum
What will you be doing?
Provide timely and effective communication with customers and internal departments via email and telephone
Accurately receive and enter bookings into the company’s TMS
Ensure all consignments are promptly directed to the appropriate department
Liaise with operations teams and overseas offices to ensure customer commitments are met
Monitor shipments to ensure deliveries are completed within agreed timelines
Proactively resolve issues with customers and colleagues as they arise
Produce accurate and timely invoicing
Input costs into the company’s internal systems
Provide Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation as required
Prepare and submit quotations in line with current procedures
Create and maintain KPIs using company systems and Microsoft Excel
Complete non-conformance reporting when required
Support day-to-day administrative activities
Monitor volume trends and escalise any significant changes to management
About You
Customer-focused, with a strong commitment to delivering excellent service
Positive and resilient, with the ability to prioritise and work under pressure
Reliable, organised, and able to multitask effectively with strong problem‑solving skills
High attention to detail, with strong accuracy and numeracy skills
Proficient in IT systems, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook (experience with Cargolink/Webcost advantageous)
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and courteous telephone manner
Experience in a freight forwarding environment with a solid understanding of the transport industry
