Workshop Storeman, Meath

We are looking for a reliable and organised Workshop Storeman to support the smooth running of our workshop producing ductwork and pipework in the Gormanston area in Co.Meath. This role involves maintaining a clean, safe, and well-ordered workshop, handling materials, supporting stock control, and assisting production teams to improve efficiency.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain a clean, tidy, and well-organised workshop and storage areas.
• Receive, store, and issue materials and tools for production.
• Assist with stock control, goods inwards and goods outwards.
• Organise tools, equipment, and materials to support production workflow.
• Support the introduction of systems and processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Ensure good housekeeping and compliance with health & safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records of stock and workshop equipment.
• Assist workshop staff as required to ensure smooth daily operations.

Essential Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills Experience:

• Well-organised with a practical, hands-on approach.
• Able to work on their own initiative and support production staff.
• Good attention to detail and pride in keeping an orderly workspace.
• Experience in a workshop, warehouse, or stores environment.
• Familiarity with stock control and materials handling processes.
• Forklift experience an advantage.
• Reliable, adaptable, and able to work to deadlines.
