The Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a senior leadership role within a well-established, Irish-owned pharmacy group that values trust, teamwork, and community care. As General Manager, you'll ensure clear communication, shared goals, and a smooth day-to-day operation.

You'll have the autonomy to run your store, alongside the support of an experienced wider Group office team - striking the right balance between people, performance, and operational excellence.

What You'll Do

       Act as the main point of contact between your branch and Group Office

       Ensure information flows clearly, accurately, and in a timely way

       Create a positive, respectful, and well-organised working environment

       Support, guide, and develop your team to perform at their best

       Set clear expectations while remaining approachable and fair

       Help align team efforts with wider business goals

       Step in and work alongside your team when needed, leading by example

       Keep a close eye on sales and identify opportunities for growth

       Support the delivery of promotions and in-store initiatives

       Ensure a consistently high standard of customer service

       Oversee daily store operations across retail and dispensary

       Ensure stock, administration, and compliance are well managed

       Maintain high standards in presentation, safety, and organisation

       Take a hands-on approach during busy periods or when challenges arise

What We Are Looking For

• Solid retail management experience (pharmacy experience an advantage)
• A calm, confident leadership style with strong people skills
• Good commercial awareness and a practical approach to problem-solving
• Strong communication skills - comfortable working with Retail and Dispensary teams and Group Office
• Someone who is highly organised, reliable, consistent, and builds trust naturally
• Willing to roll up their sleeves and support the team when needed
• Microsoft Office skills
