The Administration Operations Manager is accountable for the leadership, management and development of the Health Records Service, Reception(s) Services and Ward Clerks Services at OLHN. This includes the maintenance and security of patient records in line with hospital and national guidelines. The HRM will contribute to strategic planning and decision-making and will lead relevant hospital initiatives as required.

The post holder will manage the effective day to day operational aspects of the Healthcare Records Department. The HRM will work closely with key stakeholders to support the delivery of the Healthcare Records service in line with national best practice while contributing to improvements through performance management and service standardisation.

The Hospital is undergoing a major national change project involving Healthcare Records (moving from paper based to paper light/electronic). The HRM will play a major leadership role in the implementation of the Electronic Health Record System; providing professional advice on the transformation of Health Records Services.
