Senior Dietitian, Navan

Overview Our Lady’s Hospital, Navan is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Dietitian to provide temporary coverage in our acute dietetic services. The successful candidate will play a vital role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating dietary and nutritional problems in patients within an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for patients in acute care.

Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.

Provide expert guidance and education to patients and healthcare staff.

Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting care plans as necessary.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records.

Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Dietetics or Nutrition.

Registered Dietitian with current registration with the relevant professional body, CORU.

Proven experience in acute dietetic services.

Duration: 6 weeks initial contract, rolling thereafter
