Hiring QA Lead
Location: Nenagh, Tipperary
Onsite: 5 days in Office
Duration: Initial 12 Months
Rate:€500 - €550
Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate QA activities across multiple projects and Agile delivery teams.
Define and implement QA strategies, test plans, and testing standards.
Manage functional, integration, regression, API, and automation testing activities.
Collaborate closely with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and Project Managers to ensure quality is embedded throughout the SDLC.
Drive defect management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Oversee test execution, reporting, and quality metrics across releases.
Support and mentor QA Engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing testing culture.
Ensure alignment with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.
Participate in release planning, sprint ceremonies, and stakeholder updates.
Promote automation-first testing approaches where appropriate.
Must Have: Strong understanding of POS (Point of Sale) systems, payments processing, and payment terminal technologies, including transaction flows and integrations within retail or financial environments
