Location: Celbridge, Kildare Salary: €35, - €40, DOE + benefits including health insurance & pension Working Model: Hybrid following probation, flexible start/finish times Celtic Careers are working with a well-established international engineering and technical services client looking to hire a Technical Support Engineer.

This position is ideal for someone with a strong technical background combined with excellent customer service and communication skills. The successful candidate will act as a key point of contact for customers and internal teams, supporting technical queries, service operations, and ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.

The role offers excellent exposure across technical support, engineering services, customer engagement, and operational coordination within a global business environment.

Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day technical support to customers, field engineers, and internal teams
• Manage customer queries professionally and efficiently via phone and email
• Support spare parts identification, quotations, and service-related requests
• Assist service engineers with technical documentation and operational support
• Coordinate with sales, engineering, and service teams on ongoing activities
• Support remote monitoring and digital service platforms
• Prepare technical reports, service documentation, and related records
• Assist with customer site reviews, technical discussions, and service follow-up activities
• Identify opportunities to improve customer support and service delivery
• Occasional travel to customer sites within Ireland may be required
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience in a technical support, engineering support, or service coordination role
• Strong customer service experience is essential
• Confident communicator who is comfortable dealing directly with customers and stakeholders
• Technical qualification or background in engineering, manufacturing, mechanical, utilities, pharma, or a related sector
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills
• Comfortable working across multiple teams in a fast-moving environment
