Technical Support Engineer, Kildare

Celtic Careers are working with a well-established international engineering and technical services client looking to hire a Technical Support Engineer. This position is ideal for someone with a strong technical background combined with excellent customer service and communication skills. The successful candidate will act as a key point of contact for customers and internal teams, supporting technical queries, service operations, and ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment. The role offers excellent exposure across technical support, engineering services, customer engagement, and operational coordination within a global business environment. Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day technical support to customers, field engineers, and internal teams Manage customer queries professionally and efficiently via phone and email Support spare parts identification, quotations, and service-related requests Assist service engineers with technical documentation and operational support Coordinate with sales, engineering, and service teams on ongoing activities Support remote monitoring and digital service platforms Prepare technical reports, service documentation, and related records Assist with customer site reviews, technical discussions, and service follow-up activities Identify opportunities to improve customer support and service delivery Occasional travel to customer sites within Ireland may be required What Were Looking For Previous experience in a technical support, engineering support, or service coordination role Strong customer service experience is essential Confident communicator who is comfortable dealing directly with customers and stakeholders Technical qualification or background in engineering, manufacturing, mechanical, utilities, pharma, or a related sector Strong organisational and multitasking skills Comfortable working across multiple teams in a fast-moving environment Experience supporting both internal and external customers preferred This role would suit someone who enjoys combining technical problem solving with customer interaction and is looking to build a long term career within a collaborative engineering and services environment.
