Job Description

This is an ideal opportunity for an outgoing individual who thrives on offering excellent customer service and loves to communicate with others. This is a dynamic and busy role in our Front of House and has direct communciation with our guests.

This is a Full time permanent position, 5 over 7 days, Shift work. 3 shift patterns available spanning the hours of 8am - 8pm. Occasional night work for cover.

The duties include (but are not limited to:)

Welcome our guests on the steps of the House as they arriveMeet and greet our guestsResponsible for guest luggage and parking of expensive vehiclesResponsible to assist guests to their allocated roomsTo have an almost constant presence in the public areas and entrance hall.Answer the house telephone in a courteous and helpful manner. Taking messages on behalf of guests and management and ensuring such messages are passed on promptly and accurately.Offering the best possible advice to guests on the House and Demesne and complete daily house toursAssisting guests with all Demesne activities.Issuing and maintaining all sports equipment and golf buggies.Restocking, cleaning and maintaining all public fireplacesKeeping public areas tidy and checking on guests without intruding on their privacy.Helping other departments when necessaryConversing with guests, providing information and directing them as required.
