At Elk Recruitment, we are looking for a driven Trade Counter Sales Representative with experience in DIY and Building Materials to join our client’s growing team based in Dublin City Centre. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Trade Counter Sales Representative to make a real impact in an innovative and growing organization.

Your new role includes:
  • Providing excellent customer service at the trade counter by assisting customers with product queries and orders.
  • Processing POS transactions, generating quotations and maximising sales opportunities
  • Receiving, checking, and accurately recording incoming stock deliveries.
  • Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch efficiently and carefully.
  • Maintaining accurate stock records and conducting regular stock counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth day-to-day warehouse and trade counter operations.
Experience you need:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working within the building product/ construction is essential
  • Previous sales experience, ideally operating the trade counter or similar position
  • Excellent knowledge of building materials
  • IT Proficiency (ERP systems and Microsoft in particular)
