Process Engineer (Injection Moulding) We’re currently seeking an experienced Process Engineer to support our Engineering and Production teams in delivering high-quality, efficient manufacturing processes.
This role focuses on developing and optimizing injection moulding processes, tooling, and automation systems to meet and exceed customer and internal requirements. You’ll play a key role in both new product introduction and continuous improvement of existing operations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the introduction of new products, establishing robust process specifications
Develop and optimize injection moulding processes using data-driven techniques
Troubleshoot processing issues alongside production teams
Apply Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Design of Experiments (DOE) to improve performanceCollaborate with Quality on customer issues and ensure compliance with ISO standards
Work closely with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to drive continuous improvement
Support training and knowledge sharing across manufacturing teams
Maintain and develop technical and production documentation in line with ISO requirements
What We’re Looking For
National Diploma or Degree in Plastics or Engineering
4–5 years’ experience in injection moulding (including tooling, processing, and automation)
Strong understanding of multi-component moulding and ancillary equipment
Experience in Medical, Packaging, or Technology industries is an advantage
Knowledge of SPC, DOE, Lean Manufacturing (WCM, JIT, SMED, Kaizen)
Familiarity with real-time monitoring systems and manufacturing software (MFG Pro is a plus)
Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
