Activities Co-ordinator, Roscommon

Red Chair Recruitment are currently accepting applications for an experienced Activities Coordinator for one of our clients based in Co. Roscommon.

The ideal candidate is someone with a passion for working with the elderly, has excellent interpersonal skills, and a creative mindset for planning diverse activities. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the well-being and quality of life of nursing home residents.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar environment. Ability to plan, coordinate, and facilitate a variety of engaging activities, including social outings, crafts, games, fitness programs. Coordinating special events and celebrations for holidays, birthdays, and other milestones. Promoting resident participation in activities and encouraging social interactions Ability to maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all residents during activities. Good Communication skills to Communicate with the nursing staff, caregivers, and family members about the residents’ participation and progress in activities.

PACKAGE ON OFFER

Competitive Salary of between €17.00 per hour based on a 39 hour-week. Free Parking on site. Other benefits to be discussed at interview stage.
