About Your New Job As the Stock Controller, you will:
Coordinate and execute scheduled stock cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
Monitor and minimise negative and aged stock, preparing and implementing stock management plans.
Work closely with management and sales teams to support stock optimization.
Maintain up-to-date information on inventory within internal computer systems.
Compile daily inventory reports, promptly addressing and correcting discrepancies.
Oversee stock levels in collaboration with the purchasing team across all branches.
Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, upholding professional standards.
Drive and lead ongoing process improvements related to stock control.
Ensure that business requirements for stock levels are always met.
Provide administrative support to the financial and branch management teams and ensure best practice across all stock processes.
What Skills You Need
At least 3 years’ experience in stock management.
Advanced knowledge of stock control processes and procedures.
High-level proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Highly organised, energetic, and detail-oriented with the ability to anticipate, prioritise, and escalate issues as needed.
Strong numerical, analytical, and communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation).
