Description
Manufacturing Support Technician– Ballytivnan, Sligo Shift work required.
Responsibilities
Support biologics operations in pharma, ensuring all safety, regulatory and organizational requirements are met.
Operate production equipment daily during operations.
Document all activities in line with cGMP requirements.
Operate biologics processes efficiently, minimizing material loss.
Perform product intermediary packaging as applicable.
Assemble and inspect equipment in the manufacturing area to confirm operational status.
Execute all in-process testing methods.
Monitor process alarms and respond appropriately.
Receive material from the warehouse, verifying all pertinent documentation.
Transfer final material to warehouse inventory.
Perform process tests and participate in qualification and validation activities as required, ensuring all manufacturing documentation is completed on time and without errors, following cGMP standards.
Diagnose and resolve events or exceptions in production equipment and processes.
Disposal of domestic, biomedical, and hazardous waste in accordance with regulations and corporate procedures.
Maintain detailed records, manual or electronic, of operations carried out during each shift.
Participate in Factory Acceptance Testing, Site Acceptance Testing, and the commissioning and qualification of equipment.
Adhere to all relevant quality and safety policies.
Support successful external inspections, division, and corporate audits.
Contribute to the development of batch records and electronic batch records, working with Engineering, Quality, and other departments to update standard operating procedures.
Qualifications
3rd level qualification in a relevant science discipline or 2 years of experience in a GMP environment.
Previous experience in a GMP environment (medical device or pharmaceutical).
Demonstrated flexibility, strong concentration, and attention to detail.
