Now Hiring: Residential Service Manager / Team Leader – Supported Accommodation (Adults with Disabilities)

We are seeking an experienced Residential Service Manager / Team Leader to lead a supported accommodation service for adults with disabilities in Sligo.

This is a dual leadership role, combining:

15.6 hours as Residential Service Manager23.4 hours as Team Leader

This position carries responsibility for the day-to-day management, quality, safety, and regulatory compliance of a designated centre, ensuring services are delivered in line with legislation, best practice, and person-centred principles.

The Role

As Person in Charge, you will:

Oversee the overall management of the designated residential serviceEnsure full compliance with HIQA regulations and safeguarding legislationLead, support, and develop a multidisciplinary staff teamManage operational planning, risk, quality, and continuous service improvementLiaise with families, stakeholders, regulators, and senior managementOversee staffing, finance, facilities, and resourcesPromote a culture of inclusion, quality, and continuous improvement

Requirements

Minimum Level 7 qualification in Health & Social CareManagement qualification (or willingness to complete same as soon as possible)Minimum 3 years’ management or supervisory experience within a HIQA-registered serviceStrong leadership and people management skillsFull driving licence (essential)Experience in Acquired Brain Injury, disability, or Mental Health services (advantageous)Excellent organisational, communication, and decision-making skillsFlexibility, including participation in an on-call rota

Salary

Residential Service Manager: €66,.91 – €70,.25 (pro rata)Team Leader: €46,.01 – €51,.72 (pro rata)
