Team Leader - Children's Respite, Sligo

We are currently recruiting a Team Leader to support the delivery of a high-quality, person-centred children’s respite service in Sligo. This role involves supporting children with intellectual disability, autism, physical disabilities and complex health needs, while assisting the Respite Services Manager with the day-to-day management of the service.

This is a part time role 28-30 hours per week.

The Role

Support the delivery of a safe, high-quality, HIQA-compliant serviceLead and support staff teams across varied shiftsManage staff rotas, supervision, training and communicationEnsure implementation and review of individual support/care plansLiaise with families, multidisciplinary teams and stakeholdersMaintain high standards of health, safety and documentation

Requirements

QQI Level 7 qualification in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)Experience working in a HIQA-registered serviceProven experience in staff supervision and leadership in a similar settingStrong understanding of person-centred practiceFull clean driving licence (minimum 2 years)Flexibility with working hours
