Team Leader - Sligo

Cpl Healthcare is excited to announce we have partnered up with a client who provides day, residential and respite community-based services using a person centres approach to meet the needs of children and adults with intellectual disabilities.

We are currently accepting CVs from experienced Social Care Professionals who wish to work as a Team Leader in a Children’s Respite Services in Sligo.

Permanent Contract, 30 hours per week (Shift working patterns apply to this role)

The ideal candidate will have:

Minimum Level 7 degree in Social Care or Health Sector e.g. Social Care qualification and current registration or eligibility to register with CORUExperience in the provision of community and service based programmes and activities to promote independence and meet the needs, choices and abilities of clients.Experience of facilitation, implementation and review of Support/Care Plans. Experience of managing and maintaining a focus on Health, Safety, Hygiene and good housekeeping guidelines in a service setting and ensuring best practice.Experience of management and supervising both individuals and teamsExperience in design and development of staff rotas to include both day evening and sleep in/waking night shiftsExperience of working within a HIQA registered service.A full clean driving license with access to own transport.Practical working knowledge and experience of working within the Health Act and subsequent HIQA regulations and Standards is highly desirable.Functional Knowledge of New Directions Interim Standards.
