Role Overview:

Retail store sales assistant, including stock control and merchandising

Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out seasonal sales of fresh fruit
• Ensuring that customers always have a positive experience
• Produce loading/off-loading
• Stock checking
• Ensure careful stock rotation each day, always selling our freshest products
• Merchandising Stock
• Ensure product weights are accurate and properly labelled
• Cash handling, ensuring that end of day sales receipts balance
• Ensure hygiene and quality control standards are maintained at all times
• Maintain records as requested
• Ensure compliance with company policies, H&S legislation and driving legislation
• Additional Ad hoc duties may be required in accordance with business needs
• Customer care training provided

Key Skills & Knowledge:

Essential:

• Previous experience within a customer facing role desirable but not critical.
• Excellent standard of English (spoken & written)
• Confident / outgoing personality
• Good attention to detail

Desirable:

• Ability to work on own initiative
