Tax Manager / Assistant Manager - Employment Tax & Global …, Dublin 2

Your role

We are currently looking to hire a Tax Manager or Assistant Manager in our Employment Tax & Global Mobility Services (ET & GMS) team within our Tax Advisory Services division. We are looking for someone who has a particular interest in advising on employment taxes and global mobility and advise both domestic and international businesses in relation to a variety of issues, including:

All aspects of employment taxes e.g. BIKs, tax-free employee incentives, ERR, PAYE health checks, Revenue PAYE audits, share-based remuneration, termination/redundancy payments.All aspects of global mobility tax matters e.g. inbound and outbound assignments, cross-border commuters, remote workers.Employment tax & global mobility tax compliance e.g. personal tax returns for inbound and outbound assignees, A1s / CoCs, share scheme returns, SARP related returns, etc.

Work on a varied client portfolio, with excellent opportunities to develop and manage your own portfolio.Be part of a dedicated team focused on employment taxes and global mobility.Show tax technical expertise in the areas of employment taxes and global mobility.Build strong client relationships and contribute to business developments initiatives. Advance your people management skills which includes managing and mentoring junior team members. Work in collaboration with the Forvis Mazars international community and learn from an extensive range of experts within Forvis Mazars.

Ideal candidate

You are CTA qualified.You have a strong academic background;A good communicator with demonstrated ability to work as part of a successful team.You have experience of reviewing personal tax returns for internationally mobile employees and associated applications (e.g. A1 and Certs of Coverage applications, SARP, etc.).You have worked in a tax team with client facing experience.You are organised, a self-starter and an enthusiastic team player.You can work efficiently to deadlines and encourage others to do the same.You are driven, ambitious and passionate about continuous personal and professional development.
