Manager, Research&Development Data Office | J&J MedTech, Tallaght

Job Description Johnson&Johnson MedTech is seeking a Manager, Research&Development Data Office (RADO) to establish data governance processes across Regulatory Affairs and R&D.

Purpose of the role You will be responsible for implementing and executing key data governance initiatives within the R&D Data Office, including creating a data dictionary, data quality framework, and change management program.

What To Expect

R&D Data Dictionary

Coordinate development and implementation of the R&D Data Dictionary

Align stakeholders to identify data ownership and approve attribute definitions

Form and manage a data steward community for regular coordination and escalation

Maintain and enhance business metadata and data catalog entries to improve discoverability and understanding

Data Quality Framework

Build an R&D Data Quality framework to monitor data quality and drive remediation

Create dashboards to track and manage data quality performance

Work with stakeholders to implement efficient data cleansing solutions

Change Management&Continuous Improvement

Oversee awareness, training and change management initiatives to inform and engage the R&D Data Office community

Facilitate feedback sessions with data stewards to refine processes and improve governance practices

Promote a culture of high data quality, transparency and operational excellence

Leadership&Talent Development

Demonstrate and model J&J Leadership Imperatives (Live Our Credo, Connect, Shape, Grow)

Lead by example to foster a collaborative, inclusive and learning-oriented regulatory community

Who are we looking for?

Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (preferred fields: Engineering, Life Sciences, R&D, Information Management)

Experience: Minimum 6 years in Research&Development, quality, regulatory or related fields

Technical: In-depth understanding of data governance, data quality, metadata management principles; strong experience with R&D digital and data systems

Leadership: Demonstrated strong leadership, organizational and planning skills; ability to work cross-functionally with global teams; high-level communication abilities

Problem‑solving: Ability to identify and resolve complex data management and analytics issues
