Set up and operate robotic MIG welding cells, ensure parts are manufactured in accordance with the production output targets Adjust and set/program the welding cell to specification as required Support the training of new operators, troubleshooting and repair of robotic welding equipment as requiredRecommend design changes as required to improve quality, reliability, and productivity of welding processes. Develop in conjunction with the manufacturing team the weld drawings and weld matrices Skills and Qualifications
Experience with MIG welding processes is essential A knowledge of manufacturing and mechanical Engineering is essential Experience with MIG welding processes and robotic applications is desirable An apprenticeship or third level qualification in manufacturing or welding qualification is desirableAn attractive salary is on offer for the right candidate.
