Management Accountant, Tralee

Our clients, a retail group in County Kerry are recruiting for a Management Accountant to support the financial management and performance of the business across multiple locations. The successful candidate will play a key role in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and providing commercial insights to support strategic decision-making in a fast-paced retail environment. This is an initial one year fixed term contract with the potential for permanent position later. Key Responsibilities Prepare monthly management accounts and financial performance reports Analyse sales, margins, costs, and operational performance across retail locations Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management Monitor financial controls and support process improvements Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and month-end journals Support VAT, payroll, and statutory compliance requirements Liaise with external accountants and auditors during year-end processes Provide financial analysis and reporting to senior management Qualifications&Experience Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or ATI) Minimum 2 years experience in accounting or finance roles Strong analytical and Excel skills with experience using accounting software Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams in multiple locations.
