Job Description S&S TREE SERVICES LIMITED, Crossboyne, Claremorris, Co. Mayo, Ireland, employs Utility Line Clearance Operatives to support vegetation management and utility line clearance services carried out around overhead electricity distribution and transmission infrastructure throughout Ireland.
Responsibilities
Tree cutting, vegetation clearance, pruning, hazard assessment, and safe clearance works around overhead electrical infrastructure up to 400kV.
Operation of chainsaws, woodchippers, and forestry equipment in compliance with Health&Safety procedures and safe systems of work.
Qualifications
QQI Level 5 qualification in Chainsaw Operations (or equivalent) or a minimum of 2 years’ practical experience in forestry, arboriculture, vegetation management, tree cutting, or utility line clearance operations.
Experience working near overhead lines or utility infrastructure is desirable.
Suitable references or proof of experience are essential.
Must be physically fit, safety conscious, and capable of working independently and as part of a team.
Salary:€36,605 per annum based on a 39-hour week.
