Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Job Description Duties This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. Assist childcare leader on a daily basis in the general running of the facility; assist with daily activities; meet the needs of the children in your care; organise and supervise play, arts&crafts, etc.

You will achieve a Level 5 QQI (FETAC) Childcare qualification which will enable you to obtain employment in childcare. Candidates must be prepared to dedicate themselves to classes and study. Genuine interest in working with children, flexibility and applicants must have a good command of the English language.
