practice in Storm Technology. The

M365 Productivity and Engagement

practice main focus is in delivering M365 and SharePoint solutions as part of our customer’s digital transformation enabling them to maximise the return on investment of their Microsoft platforms. The

M365 Productivity and Engagement

team consists of over 48 staff members including architects, business analysts, consultants, developers and trainers. We have a considerable market share of both the public and private markets within Ireland and are looking for suitable candidates to help us grow our team and business portfolio.

In this position, the SharePoint Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in guiding users through the process of organising and categorising their documents and data ahead of migration to SharePoint Online. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to assess current file structures, establish clear guidelines for document sorting, and ensure that all relevant information is properly prepared for seamless transition. By providing practical support and expert advice, the analyst will help users maximise efficiency and maintain data integrity throughout the migration process.

Responsibilities / Accountabilities

Collaborate with stakeholders to analyse and document current organisational processes, identifying opportunities for improvement in document and data management.

Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation outlining best practices for preparing files and data prior to migration to SharePoint Online.

Facilitate workshops and training sessions to educate users on effective categorisation and organisation strategies, ensuring readiness for migration.

Monitor progress during the migration preparation phase, providing timely feedback and troubleshooting support to address user queries and challenges.

Ensure compliance with organisational policies and data protection regulations throughout the migration process, safeguarding sensitive information.

Work with Project Managers to ensure the project is kept on schedule and issues are called out as early as possible

Work with development team to notify them of bugs/issues/requests

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role

Experience doing application demos to large audiences

Experience with rolling out document management solutions is a distinct advantage

Experience with document migrations is a distinct advantage

Experience in conducting workshops using industry standard techniques

Experience running training sessions essentials

Third-level qualification in a relevant field such as IT, Business, or Project Management

Education, Experience Requirements

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role

Experience doing application demos to large audiences

Experience with rolling out document management solutions is a distinct advantage

Experience with document migrations is a distinct advantage

Experience in conducting workshops using industry standard techniques

Experience running training sessions essentials

Third-level qualification in a relevant field such as IT, Business, or Project Management

Skills Requirements

Business systems analysis and support experience

Excellent presentation and training skills required

Demonstrable business acumen and awareness

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office

Strong knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint is a distinct advantage.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills required

Must have strong fluency in spoken written English

Ability to work with diverse technical and business teams

Ability to multitask coupled with experience working in fast-paced work environments

Ability to work to strict deadlines

Ability to analyse dependencies between projects, systems, users, and processes.

Great attention to detail and proactive in addressing project challenges.

High integrity and strong work ethic
