The Role

We are currently seeking a General Operative to support our HVAC Installation Engineers on-site. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in the HVAC or construction industry, gaining hands-on experience across a range of projects.

You will assist with the installation of HVAC systems while working as part of a skilled and supportive team, ensuring work is completed safely and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

Assist HVAC Engineers with the installation of air conditioning and ventilation systemsSupport with general site duties including lifting, carrying, and positioning equipment and materialsAssist with pipework, bracket installation, basic cabling and other mechanical tasks under supervisionPrepare tools, materials and work areas to ensure efficient installation workMaintain a clean and safe working environment on site at all timesFollow health and safety procedures and site requirementsWork collaboratively with engineers, site managers and other trades on-siteLearn and develop skills in HVAC installation with a view to progressing in the role

What We Look For

Required

Previous experience in construction, general labouring or a similar hands-on roleStrong work ethic with a willingness to learn and develop new skillsAbility to work as part of a team and follow instructionsGood awareness of health and safety on construction sitesPhysically fit and comfortable working in a site-based environment

Desirable

Interest in pursuing a career in HVAC or mechanical tradesSafe Pass and Manual Handling certificationBasic knowledge of tools and equipment used in construction or mechanical workFull, clean Irish driving licence.
