(rates effective 01/06/2026). The Department of Nursing and Health Care at South East Technological University (SETU) invites applications from a dynamic and committed individual to join our Mental Health and Nursing teams. The successful candidate will contribute across a range of programmes by bringing perspectives informed by lived experience of enduring mental health challenges. Through collaboration and co-delivery with academic staff, the postholder will help enhance students' understanding of recovery-oriented practice, promote empathy and person-centred care, and support the ongoing effort to reduce stigma associated with mental health difficulties. This position provides an important opportunity to influence the development of future healthcare professionals by contributing to teaching, discussion, and learning activities that value lived experience as an essential component of professional education. The role aligns with the evolving requirements of contemporary nursing and healthcare curricula, which emphasise partnership, inclusion, and the voices of those with lived experience in shaping education and practice. The successful candidate will work on a part-time basis across both semesters, contributing to teaching and learning activities withinrelevant programmes in collaboration with the academic team.
