Healthcare Assistant (HCA), Wexford

Assist patients/residents with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding. Support mobility and help with transferring individuals using appropriate equipment. Monitor patients' well-being and report any changes to nursing staff. Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.Assist in maintaining a clean and safe environment. Follow infection control procedures and adhere to health and safety guidelines. Work closely with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality care. Job Context

QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support (or equivalent)– At least two modules completed CPR and Manual Handling certification (or willingness to obtain) Experience Requirements

Experience in a healthcare or caregiving role is preferred but not required Training will be provided for candidates without experience Additional Requirements

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Kind, patient, and empathetic attitude towards patients/residents Ability to work well under pressure and follow instructions Right to work in Ireland Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and nights Job Location
