Zurich Insurance Plc is looking for a Motor Claims Handler to join our Claims Team based in our Centre of Excellence in Wexford. The Claims Teams, located in Wexford&Blackrock, are responsible for meeting the insurance needs of our customers through both broker and direct channels. Your role

The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following: Managing a portfolio of material damage claims. Proactively managing a portfolio of cases to achieve a settlement, within the designated personal authority level, in line with established standards, procedures, and guidanceprovided.Demonstrating an advanced standard of technical claims competence for handling moderate to high complexity material damage claims. Driving cases to a timely and accurate resolution, with an absolute focus on customer service, indemnity, and expense. Managing key internal and external relationships to ensure all key stakeholders are informed on relevant file updates.Providing a high standard of customer service and adherence to legal and regulatory requirements. Driving efficient and effective claims management processes by utilizing industry‑leading telematics technology to achieve better outcomes. Striving for continuous improvement on claim file handling with feedback and support through the Quality Audit processes.Liaising with customers, brokers, company service providers and claimants in person, by telephone and by written correspondence. Responsible for relationship management of both first and third‑party claimants. Implementing agreed technical standards, controls, practices and procedures, thereby maintaining claims discipline.Ensuring any issues arising are dealt with in accordance with Zurich standards and, where appropriate, escalated in a timely fashion. Complying with the Minimum Competency Code, Consumer Protection Code and any other relevant regulations. Minimum Qualifications

A minimum of a Grade C3/H5 at Higher Level in the Leaving Certificate (or equivalent) or a FETAC Level 6 Diploma. Preferred Qualification&Experience

The position is Wexford‑based but occasional travel to other Zurich locations may be required.
