DEPOT MANAGER The Company -The employer is a nationwide logistics / road freight business About the Role -The Depot Manager will have responsibility for a large team of employees and will manage the transport function to meet service targets, contributing to the efficient and safe operations of the depot Key Responsibilities Manage a team of employees including recruiting and training day to day transport operations - planning and scheduling routes Implement process improvements and meet H&S and road safety legislation and ensure employees Ensuring equipment Ensuring that company vehicles are properly maintained and breakdown and repairs are minimised About the Person Proven track record of management of vehicles and manpower. Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to lead a team and site to operational excellence High level of computer literacy especially MS Office applications.
